Attn: American car makers….

you got passed up a long time ago. For quite some time now car makers like Toyota, Honda, Subaru, and Volkswagen have made better looking cars and made them higher in quality all at the same time. Some new guys are even creeping up on you as well. After spending some time at the bottom of the barrel in the 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s Nissan has stepped up their game. And one of my new favorite designs on the road, the Sonata by Hyundai boasts a 10-year 100,000 mile warranty.

I will cut the American boys a little slack due to some new rides out this year and some of their higher priced vehicles, but why are you still producing Buick’s, most Pontiacs, Chrysler, and the little ditty called the Hummer. For some reason people actually buy that overpriced gas guzzler around here.

Today, American auto makers, you have been trumped again. Pictures of the 2008 Honda Accord have surfaced and I can’t say I could be any more pleased with the body style of this car:

To also give credit Ford and GMC have taken notice and also created rides that we would own if free or greatly reduced. (Like Aspen and Logan’s Equinox)

You can’t make this stuff up

In a speech in Silicon Valley on Thursday, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton shared her message of being the ‘high-technology presidential candidate’ to an audience of over 150 technology CEO’s. Congrats Mrs. Clinton on your announcement of wanting to spur on ‘new jobs for tommorrow.’ And yes, I know that tommorrow is actually spelled tomorrow, but apparently those in her camp do not.

Could it be any easier to spell check your work these days? Even my internet browser of choice, Firefox has a built in spell checker. Cheers everyone, introducing the next president of the United States.

…to let you know all about our new news. With so many people to call/email, we just figured this would be a good way to tell everyone at once. I say everyone, but in all honesty some already do know. Please don’t get upset if this is the way that you find out, our intentions were to tell everyone at the same time but in conversations with some we just let it slip out.

Before I make the big announcement, just a couple of things. Yes, we are super-excited. Yes, you are all more than welcome to visit whenever you’d like. We have a spare bedroom and will even try to find a bed for it if you give us enough notice.
